2) Human activity in the Amazon rain forest, such as extensive deforestation has caused certain harm towards the Allomerus decimarticulatus ant. This is because as seen from the article provided by the newspaper, the ant uses a host plant and farms the unusual fungus in order to exploit a niche opportunity for protein. Moreover, the ant makes their trap through the trees around them. Using these traps, they are then able to find their source of food. With the human's extensive deforestation, this has caused harm in the fact that we have left them with lesser trees to use to make their traps, hence threatening their species in terms of taking away their ability to make traps to catch prey to eat.

3) The ant make a hole and place in pieces of mould, which protein is then put in it and the mould grows around the structure and reinforce it. (Allomerus decimarticulatus ant and plant)
The Allomerus decimarticulatus ant and the worker ant work together to get food. The Allomerus decimarticulatus ant first captures it while the worker ant sting it into submission. Both of them are able to feed on the food. (Allomerus decimarticulatus ant and worker ant)
The Allomerus decimarticulatus ant uses a host plant to farm a unusual fungus which provides protein for both the plant and the fungus. (Allomerus decimarticulatus ant and host plant Hirtella physophora)
