2) Human activities in the Amazon regions includes exploration but mostly deforestation. From the article, we can see that the Allomerus decemarticulatus worker ants cut hairs from the stem of the plant they inhabit and use fiber to build the traps spongy platform. If we continue deforestation, there will be lesser plants for the ants to live in. The article also says that this traps are glued using protein from chewed and regurgitated vegetation. Deforestation causes the forest to have lesser vegetation. Thus, hunan activities like deforestation will cause the Allomerus decemarticulatus ants to make lesser traps, which will result in lesser food for the ants.

3a)Mould grows around the structure and reinforces the plant, but does not affect the plants
Allomerus decemarticulatus first traps the insect while the Allomerus decemarticulatus worker ants rush over the hapless prey, stinging it into submission.
Allomerus decemarticulatus ants feeds on insects that fly near their traps, the insects than becoms food.
